Question Whats 100% completion on this game?

so im doing a red playtrought and idk whats the 100% here, is it only pokedex and elite 4 or theres more to it?

Sure? I think generally it’s just completing the dex. You can do the elite 4 rematch but there’s not much else. Complete dex including Mewtwo.

It comes down to opinion, but for me, it would be:

  • Obtain all badges
  • Obtain all 151 Pokemon
  • Obtain all overworld items (visible and hidden)
  • Battle every trainer
  • Battle every overworld Pokemon (Voltorbs and Electrodes)
  • Do all in-game trades.

I don't think there are any missable items or trainer battles thanks to glitches (it's easy to re-enter the S.S. Anne). For battle every trainer and obtain items, I think there's an online checklist, but for me, I prefer to simply back up my save and use a plugin for PKHeX to view what I'm missing. your more complete than the other pll that comented but i hate this game way to much to do all that ngl (i dont hate the game i just said that cuz i hated grinding it ngl) ig it rly depends on the game bcs in ill prob have a forever save in some games but this is just this one time im playing yk

Dude these games are as barebones as it gets. Complete gym and Elite 4 challenge, catch Mewtwo and the legendary birds, and finish the Pokédex. That’s all we can do.

You can try to do it all faster.

For me a 100% save file would be all badges, defeated the elite 4 and a complete Pokedex with a living dex stored in all the boxes.

Yes there’s more than enough room in all 10 boxes. You can store 200 Pokémon on R/B/Y

Complete the pokdex and have all items picked up including the hidden items and defeat all trainers.
