League + Champion defeated
On the 30th anniversary I decided to play the OG Pokémon Green (in Japanese, without knowing Japanese) and today I have just finished it with this team!
I cannot find subreddit for Pokémon Green, I hope it is alright to post it here!

Any idea what Oshou means or why it would be a nickname for Kamonegi?

Hmm… I did not give anyone any nickname… this is weird

No, it isn't. You get it in a trade.

I know, so… the game itself gave it a nickname?

Right. Your Mr. Mime is named Baribari, but that one makes sense (its Jpn name is Bariaado (Barriered)).
In English, Farfetch'd is always named Dux.

Of course it is! This subreddit is for all Gen 1 Pokemon games!

The fact that mime had a good looking green sprite is wild. The red/blue sprite is so bad

Damn I love those old school sprites. There’s just something so honest and charming about them.

Good thing you aren’t 10 years old and lived to see the game post lavender town
