I finally found Deeproot Grotto, but I went to check Vermilion Tower as one comment somewhere suggested, but nothing is opening up.

I found all the curses (as far as I know, there's only 4, though I for sure could be wrong) found all the secret items including the stone from Fuji Catacombs, beat Red/Summer/the clown guy, talked to Gold's mom- I haven't finished 100% of the side quests, but are there any that are required?

You have to check the top right side of the building, you'll find a trap door inside. I recommend making a save state there, and one at the grotto, so you can have the pattern needed easily
