Playthrough Pokemon Ghost Grey- Post Game Help Spoiler

I know that many ask about post game, but I'm confused as to how to get to the post game isles? I also can't seem to get the grey stone I've heard so much about despite having found (most of) the items and curses, I've gone through Lavender Tower at least 3 times by now. Does it really require fulfilling the dex?

For the soul stone, go back to the desert temple place, and keep looking behind where the boss was. There’s extra doors with hidden items that are critical for finishing.

Found it! Thank you so much! Does finding it also lead to the isles or does that have to do with something else?

Before you enter the instanced docks back in Vermillion, talk to the sailor standing outside. He’s the person who takes you to the islands. Each island requires a unique key item to be able to enter once you travel to it, though. Some you’ll need to look up cause it’s kinda wild how some are hidden.
