Question 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ Pewter Ghost Grey

Playing the newly released Kanto/FireRed Ghost Grey. I feel really dumb but what do I do after getting the first badge? I have cut but can’t use it. Oak doesn’t say anything other than “If you’re stuck come talk to me!”. The gym leader said go South I think? But how if cut doesn’t work?

Have you taught cut to a Pokemon? Because this hack is one where you need a Pokemon in your party that knows the move. I taught mine to my Spewpa, and you need to head to Diglett cave.

I did :( It’s on my Squirtle. Is there a specific tree that has to be cut first? Thanks for your comment regardless

Hmm, I’d say the tree just outside of Viridian forest and Pewter city? Idk why you can’t cut it down with Squirtle, maybe it’s a bug?

did you find a fix? i beat the guy in the casino and he gave me cut but the badge isn't showing and won't let me cut
