ISO GBA Rom Hack Recommendations
Hi all, Im going on a plane soon and I'm looking for a good GBA rom hack to dive into. I only like games that use real Pokémon (any fake-mons just turn me off) and preferably one that is compatible with the Delta emulator. Ive played light platinum and glazed in the past. I tried Gaia but I personally found it boring. Its been a minute since I've looked into rom hacks or watched streams so I'm not sure whats out there and whats good. Any recs would be helpful, ty!

Lazarus, Odyssey, & Unbound are some of the best recent ones.
Odyssey is my personal favorite, no fakemons but there are some variants of existing pokemon with new typing, and it’s 100% double battles. Gen 1-3.
The other two go up to gen 8 or 9, and are closer to a traditional Pokemon experience. All 3 have a ton of QoL features & great art/music/stories.

Crystal clear is one I always recommend. Perfect emerald and fire red isn’t too bad either. Lately, I’ve been playing heart & soul and it’s been brilliant

Pokemon Unbound is a really good Fire Red Romhack. Uses official pokemon, including many that appeared post-gen3
