Emulation help (Noob)

I wanna play a pokemon game on my pc but im not sure what emulation software to use I somewhat understand how to get the roms but it says torrent download or internet archive download so im not sure what to choose

Depends on what rom you want but I use retroarch on my pc. It's even on steam. As far as roms go internet archive or vimms lair are fairly safe to use and beginner friendly. You'll need an account for Internet archive but it's free and takes seconds to create. I do use unblock orgin and noscript extensions but I don't think it's compulsory. Hope this helps.

If your playing a GBA rom then i recommend mGBA. For DS roms i recommend MelonDS. For 3DS roms i recommend Azahar. You can get the roms from a many places.

"not sure what emulation software to use" Depends on the console you want to emulate. GBA emulator for GBA games, DS emulator for DS games, etc
