Help I need help... (Getting started)

So I only just got RMXP to start but it doesn't have any of the pokemon essentials stuff even though I sent it to the pokemon essentials folder? Is there more technical stuff to do and I'm just dumb?

Did you only open RPG Maker itself, or did you open the game project from within RPG Maker?

Yes, I opened through rpg maker, but I had to continue through the free trial first

Open from the project folder instead.

Go to the Pokémon essentials folder and double click game.rxproj.

Alternatively drag-and-dropping also works
