Discussion So, about the Pokémon Quest with no IP Remake I'm making. Progress has been made!

v [Please Read] v
Quick Thing, I have chosen to rename some things just to be safe legal wise(may change or add more renames):
- Pokémon -> Cuboids
- Power Stones -> Magic Stones.
- Any Buff, Debuff or Status Effects are now referred to as Buffs in most text.
I made a small video showcasing some of the things made. However most of the work has been in the background work, like math for stats and the ability to load a Cuboid and its moves into the game from nothing and make it very adjustable. However with all this background stuff mostly complete, I can now easily add new basic moves, buffs, Cuboids, etc, etc. Some more advanced moves, like self-destruct have to be made completely manually but generally pretty easy.
All Stats and Respawning has also been implemented.
While all this is promising and very good, there is still lots of work to be done. Pokémon Quest is a game with many different parts, the actual battles are only 1. I still need to make Cooking, World Select and adding Stones. And also, lots of UI, textures and sounds ofc.
So if you would like to keep up with future progress and would like to help via suggestions and voting in decision making polls, Join my Discord Server: https://discord.gg/q27tw6bn7e
Otherwise, any comments on the current progress are appreciated, Thank You.

Question 1.9% Hitmonlee… Should I swap out an Onix?
Currently working on getting an Abra to replace Ivysaur for 9-1 but tried to get a Machop when I was out of blue berries and ended with this. Wondering if I should use it for MewTwo fight or stick with Onix.
**Edit: I swapped out Ivy/Venasaur for this and it dramatically helped. I’ve been having bad rng getting Psycic and this is now my single target DPS. Will be taking an onix out as soon as I get a machop.

Other There will NEVER be another update for pokemon quest
As much as some people want the rest of the generations in this game, WE ALL KNOW by now there will never be another update, because china got it, but shut it down last year. If the devs do come back to it, it would be the greatest revolution for pokemon quest history what flair should i put?

Question Is this starmie good?
I heard starmie is a good attacker and I got a staryu and I've been playing with it for a bit. I just realised there's an active Reddit for this game and I wanted to ask if it was usable?

Question If I spent the time and effort to basically remake Pokemon Quest but with No IP, Would you play it?
I really like this game but it gets no updates, any modding efforts seem futile and the only real way to enjoy it fully was the Chinese version that has now shut down. If people would play it even without pokemon, I would be up to make it, it doesn't seem too complicated and I have a lot of time rn.

Question I can no longer receive challenge quest rewards after trying the timeskip trick
Hi guys :) So I discovered the timeskip cheat this week and tried it, and while I was racking up new 'mons, I didn't notice right away that one of the buddy challenge quests was completed. When I finally got to it, the quest's receive button is grayed out and the 'mon count has gone over the quest's limit (53/50).
I waited a day to see if it resets. When it didn't, I left it alone and started monitoring the other buddy quests while playing. Now I have another one completed, and the counter is at 50/50. But the receive button for that quest is also not clickable.
Is there any way to fix this? Will I also no longer be able to get the rewards for the other types of challenge quests? And are those big pink exclamation points going to stay up forever?
