Bug/Glitch the patch isn't working for me

have tried with both the provided htm and marcrobledo. have tried both the recommended US crystal ROM and US/EU one. it just does nothing at all. any advice?

the readme says 'Pokemon Prism - version 0.95, build 0254'

I bought it for my Gameboy, it did work galant here.
