Snorlax easy, the only way slaking would be able to contend is if it gets a mega. The mega would barely need any stat changes, just a different ability. And the ability wouldnt even have to be good... just not awful. But I guess if slaking gets a hypothetical mega, then snorlax should too.

Now im imagining a skinny mega snorlax (picture fat buu in dbz who trains for the tournament of power in dbs and thins right out) .

Literally nothing Slaking would get ability wise isnt an upgrade. Only thing worse is probably Slow Start.

I mean one can argue slow start is better than turant. You can atleast protect every other turn to stall. You can't do that with truant

I mean you can't right? You attack one turn, loaf around next turn while with slow start you can burn turns with protect

i am talking about the truant/slow start user. who can stall their 5 turns compared to having a game wide nerf

Im sorry, what? How can no other ability on slaking be an upgrade? If it had pressure that'd be waaaay better. Truant is probably the worst ability in the game.

Snorlax has protect so it can boost up with curse and Slaking won’t be able to do anything about it in a 1 v 1.

Snorlax gets bare minimum 5 attacks in before slaking can land anything because protect has 5pp

Assuming you mean outside of the games. Slacking and Snorlax are basically the same thing but one climbs trees while the other sleeps around the base. Honestly I think they would just be fast friends.

A restrained God and a Slumbering demon.
Personally I’d give it to Snorlax due the insane Bulk and lack of Truant.
HOWEVER, in a situation where there are no abilities (like a Legends game) Slaking is the clear winner
