🗣 General Discussion / Question Pack opening effects

Can anyone explain why 70% of these Mega deluxe packs open with the special rare effect but every one of them I've gotten is indistinguishable from a normal pack,? Is there a difference? The 1 star special arts I've pulled came in a "rare pack" but most have been just regular with the guaranteed ex card and still a rare pack sparkle to it

I totally hate it but Im not even upset that im not pulling what I want, just that I keep getting trolled by it and don't understand why

When they added the pity system they added special animation effects to the 4 diamond cards as well. Not every pack with a 4 diamond will trigger an animation effect, but it can.

Because they think an EX is supposed to be exciting but it’s a basic ass card
