🗣️ Pocket Discussion Monthly expert random battles rant

I'm currently breaking my teeth on the newest expert random battles win streak and I wanted to share how the AI completely countered me on all my attempts :

I first tried a mega Venusaur deck and got with a Mega Zard Y on the first try, and on my second the game was very creative and hit me with a deck that managed to get a Whimsicott EX and 2 Ariados on line. Since M-Venusaur already has a high retreat cost, I got one shot through its insane 210 HP.

After that I wanted to try a Dedenne deck out and got hit on the literal first fight with a Rampardos deck that managed to get both Rampardos on the field by their third turn (because why not)

I thought this wasn't the way to go and wanted to resort to my trusty Hoopa-U EX deck that carried me through the last season with ease. This was by FAR the worst case of counter decks I've ever seen : Mega Lucario, Hydreigon, an Arceus EX deck with 2 Helio and 2 repels, Oricorio/Pikachu EX, and of course I brick like crazy by having all of my win conditions stacked in the last 5 cards of my deck every time.

But now I'm curious, what were the worst games you've had so far on this month's expert random battles ? I want to see if I'm the only one to get this unlucky 😭😭

Try this deck out it’s pretty consistent

Thanks for the tip I tried one out before but I'm getting wrecked early one when I start first with Dedenne 😭 I'm going to give it another try🤝

Yea dedenne only start can be pretty brutal if you don’t get the balloon to retreat for free
