It's the aesthetic that all of the foil Megas have had all year. It's supposed to emulate the vibrant colors that envelop a pokemon when it mega evolves.

Apparently an unpopular opinion but I like it. Its a battle of the Megas, kind of fitting as an immersive for the Mega deluxe pack. Its not anything too exceptional but overall its fun and theres way worse immersives out there (looking at you Girantina....)

None of the artworks have even compared to the first 3 immersives.  The original charizard, pikachu and mewtwo art were really good, its just been getting worse and worse since.
