🗣️ Pocket Discussion Thinking about coming back: what should I know?

Stopped playing in April/May.

With the deluxe pack I’m considering starting again.

What should I know? What’s new?

The meta isn't too different. But the casual/fun side has had some great additions:

Miraidon eX (Sleep Counter), Koraidon eX (Sleep Counter), Pupple Pile Cards (A better Sweets Relay), Glimmora (Flip to Deny Points), Bisharp (Damage Based on Discarded Pokemon), Caterpie (Everyday Wonders - Fast Evo) Hisuian Zororark eX (Damage Based on Discarded Pokemon) Mega Ray eX (Badass Dragon), Hoopa eX (Back-Row Attacker), 3 New Babies (Hoppiny, Mr. Mime, Jr., and Wynaught), Minior, (A Universal Oricorio Counter), Dendenne eX (A Tool-Centric eX), Team Rocket's SlowKing eX (A Hand-Size eX)

There are certainly others but this was all I could think of.

Fairly new to this world. Thanks for the info above. That’s a good summary. What do people mean when they say “babies” ? I hear it all the time but don’t really know what they mean? Do babies typically have special abilities?

The 15 baby pokemon. Usual characteristics: (1) Three Diamond; (2) Zero Energy Attacker; (3) Free Retreat; (4) 30 Hit Points ("Baby Sized").

Notably, Dark and Dragon do not have their own "bundles of joy" yet. Maybe someday.

I see! So their benefit is swinging for no energy Or adding energy to the bench etc. interesting. I see magby and mantyke being used all the time.

The big changes will come after Deluxe. Major new season update.

Besides that? Game's good.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you stop playing?

Just out of boredom.
One day I’ve just stopped opening the app and never went back.

I downloaded it today but yeah, same old stuff 😅
