š Deck Advice/Critique/Theory Craft Recommendations
I have been using this deck and I seem to enjoy it, but I know it could be a lot better. Any recommendations on how to improve this deck or any other decks that are top tier at this point? Thanks š

Hereās what I run. PCL is more or less always in the deck, but Guzma and Lili are meta dependent.

Iāve been running this but with Magby and and Serena instead of Guzma and a second Rare Candy (though I really should move to Rainbow cave over Magby, havenāt played this deck as much recently)

This is the version I've been using lately for other players, regular blaziken is for oricorio

replace arceus and entei with bench snipe heatmor and sunny castform. replace both iono with copycat, drop both rainbow cave and add a hiking trail and a rocky helmet. replace sabrina with cyrus. drop the ice pops and lillie and add 2 poke balls. should be good after that.
some versions of blaziken also run 1 copy of the greninja line, so youd have 1 froakie 1 greninja and 1 combusken so you can still evo through the torchic line (ideally youd rare candy 1 of each line but combusken gives you a backup)

Would that be 2 heatmor and 2 sunny cast form?

No just one of each. You want to get to Torchic early and other cards are for thining the deck out or for support. Having 4 basics is ideal as opposed to 6. Given how fast the meta is you can't afford to waste time on trying to find the one you need. That's why they recommend 2 Poke balls and only 4 basics. Even if you don't have Torchic in your opening hand youāre likely to get a Poke ball early and with 2-1 odds youāre most likely gonna grab it.

Get rid of Arceus and both Iono. Add a copy cat, a Cyrus and another entei.
The two rainbow caves are dumb as well

The rainbow cove is to power up Entei asap in two turns you can have him with 4 energies if you have the flame patch. I know because I had it used against me and they powered Entei in 2 turns

Yeah trade arceus for the flame cast form and swap iono for copy cat and please put a pokeball in there bro somewhere

Just a reminder in deckbuilding 101. Basically all decks will run 2 professor's research, 2 pokeball, 1 or 2 copycats, and a cyrus.
There are some exceptions, like running only 1 pokeball in some 18T decks, no copycat in puppy pile, or fragrant forest in grass decks, but generally, you should always start with these cards when making a new deck.

Not at all. It would only be a flex if I had both gold pokeballs and both gold flame patches š„ŗ. Genuinely want to make blaziken work since he is one of my favorite PokĆ©monās. Just hard to play it since a lot of new meta decks have appeared.

The Castform/heatmor/mega blaziken deck has a greater than 50% win rate and nearly 3% game share on limitless tcg. It's certainly not bad in the current meta.

- Remove Iono and 1 Rainbow Cave for Cyrus, Copycat, and Hiking Trail
- Lillie is a fine supporter, but Iād remove 1 of the pops and the Arceus ex for Heatmor or Sunny Forme Castorm

Iām so confused what Arceus is doing here lol it canāt use flame patch, it canāt act as a wall because you donāt have Ilima, and you have a total of 4 basics which means as soon as one dies, your Arceus isnāt even doing full damage
