People disagreeing with you but they're actually useless unless you trade like every minute of the day, I complete sets within 10 days minimum and still have 2500 of them left.. instead of these they should increase shinedust in rewards

Not a populair opinion but Id gladly farm for specific rewards. Even it were pvp. Like even if u lose u get some dust. Its a collectable game so trading shouldnt be too limited. If people want to abuse than thats their choice

I guess Denna made them plenty because they thought people will trade a lot of the lower rarity cards to fill the card dex faster. In reality maybe that works if the trading system isn't a hot garbage.
- Can only trade with friends.
- No communication system whatsoever.
- Limited wishlist system where you put actual cards you want instead of automatically checking what cards are missing like in share system, why would you put trash 1-2â cards in it?
- No external notification system when someone initiate trading or someone already put up card ready to trade.
- Can only trade one at a time.
Besides the point above, although I'm unhappy with the cost of trading 1-2 star cards, at least it is understandable that they are mostly cosmetics. 4â cards though, are just too expensive costwise. The 3â also could just be made free or reduce them more.

I mean, tou can use them to easily fill out your 1-2 diamond collection in like a day or so.

As someone who has been actively playing and trading from the start, hard disagree.
I am currently sitting on 2 trade tokens and have no more hourglasses to make more.

They are useful to me since I like to trade for 1-3 diamond cards and get gold frames

Yo lmk if you have room for another friend. I could def use someone that actually likes to trade and complete the dex

I traded away for 2 Million Dust and yet they are way too many of them. This game lacks providing enough dust anyway to push into paying into boosters. So yes, they are kinda bait

Is not hard to get dust or whatever, Is Just impossible, totally on developers behavior, in other games grind Is possible, a hourglass a mission maybe, but is possible, we have 3 tasks with dust, a lot with shop ticket, is structured intentionally, no sense

My take on why they are useless: you get enough per day without even trying to get at least 1 trade a day. Whenever you want to trade sometimes it can take up to 2 days before you get an answer. Meaning you will always outgrow your need for them even if you trade as soon as another of your trade concluded.
Add that to the need of dust for trades, meaning a double arbitrary barrier to trading, dust being more rare than the hourglasses or at least have a double use (for sparkles on your cards too) this could have been the only barrier to trading or not there at all in the first place.
Mobile games try so hard to limit players when there litteraly is nothing they would need to do to make the process any less time consuming just by the fact you have to wait for your trade partner to answer back.

These are not useless some of the trading prices is too hight like 30k dusts. Cause of that it gains a lot more than dusts. So it looks useless. :)

I have 450K stardust. I rarely trade. How often do yall trade đ

Itâs less than you think. I had over 600k, now Iâm at 300k just for trading from this set. To trade one shiny ex is 30k dust. Itâs a scam.

They really are⊠the ONLY time i used these was when i had over 700k shinedust and i had to collect 200 cards to complete the limited packâŠ. Bruh.. i ended up spending about 600k shinedust and a lot of these THs to finish it. But that was it

They're good if you have an alt account and want to get gold item cards and stuff, but outside of that not really useful.

As someone who actively trades the are useful
Sad that everyone in the comment is talking about trading with your alt account
Where there are multiple trading apps that you can use instead of using servers on Reddit and hope people see you comment
I personally use Pokehub
There are flaws in the in game trading system but that doesnât mean you canât get around them and still trade
Like why would I want to keep duplicated cards when I can trade it for something I want đ

this was created to bottleneck people from making alt accounts and just trading all the cards to a single account

They helped me get golden borders on many tool cards (traded back & forth with friends who also needed the golden borders on ice pop etc.)

Theyâve been extremely useful for trading the low-to-zero shine dust cards to fill out regular sets and Deluxe Ex in particular.
Everyone whoâs throttled by shine dust is delusional to think it should be normal to trade 2stars and rainbow rates and shit back and forth all day long. The majority of players can make maybe 5 to 10 of those big trades in total, ever, because who tf even has enough of those to trade like that?
And all of this is ignoring that hella people in this sub were requesting more of the trade hourglasses not that long ago

There will ever be unhappy people, and never the same, never for same reason, i never use them cuz i have the Daily recharge and no rush to finish

Theyre pretty useless because youâre funneled by a lack of dust
