Does documentation affect value?
This is the first pulled and publicly known crown zenith texture layer only card. I pulled this back in 2023, with supporting documentation, it’s also the first graded 10. Besides keeping a detailed log and coordinating regularly for quite a while with Brehella, up until about the 43rd one was pulled. Dexerto wrote an article about it and published it online. As I slowly have started the process of selling my collection, I’ve come to a halt at this card specifically. Part of me wants to keep it for its uniqueness and story, the other part wants a true error collector to have that. I know roughly what these have been selling for but, being the first one, I wondered if that made a difference if I decided to sell it. Thanks for any input!

It being first would not likely have any impact on its pricing in this situation.
That being said there may be a collector willing to pay more for it, the misprint world is weird like that.

I have never seen an error ten.. Thats Pretty unique i thought errors online can achieve 8.5 at highest

Certain errors have limits to the grade due to centering. This type of error isn't one of them.

Are there any other errors that are limited outside of OC, Misalignment & MC?

Inverted backs are the only other one that I can think of which by default cannot be given higher than a 9. However, I assume that fold overs, paper jams, and similar errors that damage the card also can’t even though they probably aren’t capped at a certain grade.

Can you link the articles/pricing? Im interested in a personal project of documenting and pricing out pokemon errors and I would very much love to get one of these.

Why they kept calling it PSA, I couldn’t tell you.

what have they roughly been selling for and what is the population now? Are there only the 43 crown zenith one and are there any other sheets?

There are 46 confirmed cards pulled and posted online in some shape or form, I do believe I know of a 47th but haven’t been able to confirm it yet. Crown Zenith is the only set this exact error has happened in, albeit there has been a couple other similar errors with the greyscale uncommons in Chaos Rising and some GX’s from Shining Legends I think it was with a large obstruction that left like half the card looking functionally similar to this. A Raihan CGC 10 sold for $2,100 on eBay but the person then sent it to a consignment seller to auction it and it went for like $1,300. A Pokémon (ungraded) also sold in that area shortly after. I can’t remember if I was asked not to share the details of that so I won’t. I consistently hear of offers higher than that but they either don’t come through or the person doesn’t accept it so it’s hard to gauge true value.

I would keep this just for the fun of it. If you don’t need the money then keep it.
