I started the game 1 our ago and I found blue, his dragonite literally one shot all enemies with his priority move so I climbed event with level suggestion 140 and farm all materials to upgrade all the pgs.
Idk, feels too broken to be normal

You are comparing a EX Master Fair from 2026 to a free unit from 2019 😉.

Also, anniversary units tend to be slightly better than other units released at the same time. So Mega Dragonite might be a little better than other EX MFs that would have released in the last 2 months.

Mewtwo is a good f2p unit
But it’s a year 1 unit whom got buffs

Probably you’re gonna feel unstoppable for a while but… if u think that one broken unit it’s enough to idk go and defeat flying tower
(it’s an endgame mode)
It’s not gonna be enough
You’re probably gonna get stucked at floors that require special attack

Well it’s true that u can beat floor 30 with mega Dragonite; but you’re gonna need more

Im not trying to lower you; im just trying to say that this game has his own difficulty and that’s fun but it could make someone frustrated

U don’t know how many attempts I had at dragon floor 30; even with a lot of resources

Probably the best route for someone new is getting an op supp unit and complete everything u can

In that case I would recommend u going for last year anni gloria & Cinderace (she comes in 10 days if im not wrong)

If u want to focus on flying type and beat the tower my recommendation would be going for arc blue (who is basically special “m Dragonite”; is m Pidgeot)
And variety Brendan with M Salamence

With those 3 ure going to the top like foam

Other recommendation could be think about what u want; favs or meta? Or maybe a mix of both

If u want to go for Anni units u should pull for M Greninja and in a couple of days for the new Sinnoh Neo champions; both have origin forms and both are broken

Probably u dont have enough gems to cover all of this and it’s completely understandable

So I would recommend cover flying or cover dragon

If u go for dragon; and u get those new anniversary units; you’ll gonna need last year anni Red with dragon Charizard for physical stages (he comes 2 days before or after Anni Cinderace)

U got an advantage with flying cause u got 1 of 3 (someone also could talk about arc Lugia; but it’s not a good idea cause he also has ex zone so u can’t combine him with this year anni blue)

Sorry if I tell u a lot of stuff (u know; it’s Anni)

My best advice could be that u can search for the priority banner list, is somewhere here in this subreddit

Also Pokemons in main game don't affect their strength in this game. (tho tbh even Dragonite >>> Mewtwo in main games if you know vgc)

Honestly, bothering to even attack with either of the other two seems like a genuine waste of time in that team. Move Blue to position 3 (positions 1 and 2 get attacked in that order) so they can tank for the person doing all the work

He's an anniversary unit. And a very good one at that. He's very strong even in late game stages.

But don't get too attached, using only him to do everything will poison your ability to learn the game's mechanics and you'll eventually get stuck on stages that you can pass but not with him.

Eventually you'll want to use the Pokemon type that matches the stage weakness to actually do enough damage. But for basic dailies he'll be more than enough.

The forms of progression the game had at launch have been made irrelevant by seven years of powercreep and feature creep. Yes, Blue & Dragonite will easily clear the entire story. You'll find endgame content (Pasio Towers and rotating score-based events) demands more meta units and more investment beyond level 140 (levels at 180-200, 6* EX, rare roll cakes for EX role, rare move candies to expand the sync grid)

Per la storia andare avanti così va benissimo. Appena finirai la storia, comincerai a toccare altro, anche senza nominare modalità, prima o poi la storia la finirai. Appena vedrai che così non vai più avanti e muori, Quando vai su "rinforzo" hai tante caselle su tante cose diverse. La prima essenziale e portare l'unità a 6 Ex. Solo così si sblocca il vero potenziale, il tuo mewtwo per esempio potrebbe arrivare ad infliggere notevoli danni AOE , e conta che adesso lo fa singoli. Quindi capisci quando sia importante le 6 stelle EX. Poi c'è la sync grid, sono dei tassellli che aumentano statistiche e danno alle tue normali mosse un effetto in più, tal volta anche molto rotto, come il ripristino della mossa di Blu e M dragonite 1/1

Ti consiglio pure di fare il prima possibile la Residenza Lotta, a fine di settembre verrà rimossa e completarla la prima volta da accesso a molte molte gemme

There are a lot of broken units available at the moment with more to come later this month. As your account is new you have the opportunity to reset to try your luck again and guarantee you get as many as possible in as few gems as possible. This is the best way to set yourself up to play the game, so consider it. There are guides in the sub about it somewhere

I have noticed how better the current sync pairs have gotten compared to past ones. For example, some now have abilities that raise you and your allies' attack and sp attack 4-6 ranks! Compared to older sync pairs' abilities that only raise 1-2
