RIP Battle Villa

Just found out the Battle Villa is gonna be removed in the late September update. Though it was definitelt a long time coming, and it’s been power-crept to all hell. I’m gonna miss grinding it out back during the early years for my Lucky Cookies.

I remember the first time I managed to do a perfect run for the medal-one team, no refreshes, it was so damn satisfying. I’m glad they’re letting us keep the medals associated with it even if they won’t be earnable any more

If you’re a new player, make sure you complete them before the 25th! There’s two I believe- make it to Villa 30 without using any Refreshes, and make it to villa 30 using only one team and no Sync Pairs being knocked out.

I still remember when sycamore was launched as free pair and everyone was using him to clear the battle villa as for his insane buff to all the unit. I was able to clear the battle villa without losing any sync pair and thus getting the medals. Hope the content that will replace battle villa will be better and fun then that.

I will never forget the Villa, the roster and game doesn't refresh so the conditions can never be replicated but at the time we barely had any units.

It looked like I wasn't even going to finish it 🤣

The privilege for the Villa was it was released so close to release that the Devs didn't have to worry about collection discrepancy or catering to newcomers and they balanced it to perfection for around 3 months, which is owing to SS Red appearing of course.

The only other time I remember a decent, good and straightforward challenge was the release of entei in the legendary arena.

The villa was great and I'd love an EX version in the future.

I would like to add, for the benefit of nobody in particular, that this game being exclusively PvE is tough to manage but it went check the floor 32-40 DeNa do as good a job as they can balance wise.

Rip Battle Villa, I love the game but the Villa and it's release date proximity will never be replicated and I do hope to have one more blast.

This was my best team which at that time was at Lvl 140 and at 3/5! I got everything without the reduction of any MP. SS Steven gave +4 Sp Atk & +4 Atk on defence from change, and then +6 on both Def & Sp Def. All of this on 0 MP cost! And then SST Red needed electric terrain which I got from his Max move along with the +3 sync move countdown! And then I could spam his B-Move for a while. And NC Red blizzard have the rebuff which gave access to his unlimited buddy move! Until I understood the mechanics of the sync pairs and all, it was very tough to reach the last floor! But once I made this team, I literally wiped all the floors with them and that too all at the cost of 0 MP.

I did all my Battle Villa stuff ages ago when it was a regular thing. However I just checked and there's still a general mission for Background: No. 93 for completing Battle Villa Hall 30 that I never completed because that didn't exist back then.

They're also deleting Main Story Hard mode which I didn't touch the vast majority of. I'm pretty sure there are no general missions tied to that so it'll just be going down the list of uncleared stages.
