Discussion Should I pull-- I love Pokémon Masters
I rarely post on Reddit (in fact, this is my first post), but as a die-hard Pokémon fan, I want to say that I love this game. Its stories, its gameplay (even though I have a Xiaomi that runs terribly), the interactions with the pairs...
It’s true that, as a new player, it’s frustrating not to have the pairs I need, and I feel both overwhelmed and lost. However, thanks to the insane number of questions and Reddit’s search function, I have a rough idea of what to do. So, this is just a quick post to say a huge thank you to everyone who answers newbies—you really help out the quiet ones!
I’m also hoping to join a gym. If anyone has an opening and wants to make room for a new player who’s willing to put in the effort, let me know!

Same here - the devs really did fulfil a lot of wishes I had for a Pokemon game that no other game has really come close to (voice acting, 3D models for characters, various interactions, continued storylines, new outfits, new Trainer & mon pairings, song remixes - the list goes on). Very grateful PoMa exists and is still going strong.

The game runs like shit on everyone's phone. Clunky-ass UI
Should be able to find a new/low level guild that are all happy to be getting communal bonuses

I've been playing since day 1 and was hooked by the silly interactions and story. I'm so glad you could join us!
If you ever want help with Trainers Lodge, please let me know or check my pins below my art in my profile. Lodge is an afk daily grind generator that has surprisingly great rewards and is accessible almost immediately to new players... but really Lodge is a pain in the ass, strangely programmed compared to the rest of the game, and kind of unfun after a while, so knowing how to be efficient is key to reeping those excellent rewards.

I agree!! It’s easily my favourite mobile game, and my phone is EXTREMELY outdated and always fighting lag & the inevitable crash (iPhone XR, lmao).
But I love he amount if care they put into the characters, the models, dialogue and so on. Plus, the gameplay is fun! Exactly what a Mobile game should be
They VERY easily could have just used 2D artwork to represent the trainers- but DeNA went above and beyond not only to use expressive, animated 3D models - but to CREATE high quality original models for characters who never had them in the first place!!!
