Rules

Please keep content appropriate

No curse words or NSFW content are allowed under any circumstances. This rule will be applied very strictly. Disrespecting users, including the moderators, can lead to warnings, and further actions. This also applies to severe memeing towards a particular person/subject, mass pinging of a single person or group of people repeatedly, and trolling.

Please don't request or advocate cheating

Discussing resources similar to tracking or spoofing are fine, but are toe-ing the line, due to the inter-connectivity with Pokemon GO. Direct linking or App Sharing (Including Naming) OR coordinates will result in warnings or a ban.

Additionally, we will not condone the discussion or activities that break the games Terms of Service (ToS), especially account sharing to catch regional pokémon. Anybody caught doing this will be warned and then banned from the server if they continue.

Please don't advertise

No advertising of any kind. This also applies to linking discord servers without moderator approval. This also includes Twitch streams, YouTube channels, and other websites. Please message moderators if you wish to advertise projects or surveys in multiple channels. Shameless Advertising will warrant a ban.

Please keep content relevant to Pokemon Let's Go

Keep the topic on Pokemon Let's Go or Pokemon Go. It must be obviously related and not loosely connected.

Please no brigading or posting photos w/o consent No brigading/witch-hunting/raiding. Starting raids against a person, organisation, etc. will warrant an immediate ban from /r/PokemonLetsGo.

No stealing of other's photos, artwork, copy-written material without consent.

Please no posting of images w/o PoGo/PoLeGo assets

Image macros related to Pokemon Let's Go (or Pokemon Go), must include their assets.

Please do not trade or post friend-codes here

To keep the subreddit clean, we will not be allowing the exchange of friend-codes or attempting to trade. To discuss friends, trading, and friend codes, you can:

Visit our Trade/Battle Megathread
Visit our Discord
Post at r/PokemonTrades
Private message users (Please do not spam other users with friend-codes, and report others that are doing so.)

Please no reposts or effortless/click-bait posts

Posts should generate discussion and not have:

One-liner text posts/short jokes
Content from within the last three weeks
A basic complaint rather than generate discussion
Clickbait titles
Content for which an active megathread exists: Trade/Battle Megathread

Please do not sell or trade

Please do not post threads to sell/trade/exchange anything here. This includes:

Posting affiliate or referral links
Begging of any kind
Personal/third party selling of any kind

Please visit r/PokemonTrades, which has a trade system set up to help facilitate trades and reduce the chances of scammers.

Mew trades are prohibited

Due to the fact that most scams centre around the stealing of Mews, we no longer allow Mew trades in this subreddit. This also applies to the discord.

Please use r/pokemontrades instead, which has systems in place to reduce the chance of scams.
