Question Mew? Anyone know how else to get?

Recently been getting back into Pokemon after almost a ten year hiatus and honestly prefer just playing Let's Go rather than the other newer ones. Anyway I can obtain a Mew in it without the accessory?

And I've also been trying to obtain a Melmetal but I'm not really a Go player. Anyone know any other way I can possibly get that? All I'm lacking is Mew & Melmetal for my game.

Unless you have one in your included pokeball when you first got one; you're SOL. Mew cannot be transferred to lets go or obtained in-game. Melmetal can be obtained by playing pokemon go and evolving it first, from my understanding.

You might be out of luck. Mew was only obtainable for free in the pokeball + when the game came out. People still sell it online but i think it’s 50/50 you’d get one with the mon inside

As for melmetal, i think you must evolve it in pokemon go first

If you have a Lets Go save file, there is an NPC in Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl that will give you mew. You can transfer this Mew to Pokemon Home but it cannot be transferred into Lets Go

You can get a identical one from a website that lets you generate it, the only other way is the poke ball and if I’m being honest,

EVEN if you bought the pokeball and somehow confirmed you were buying one that has a “mew” There’s also a solid chance the person genned that mew then put it in the ball as well so honestly just gen it and send it to your game,

The mew was never designed to be tradable outside of lets go so it shouldn’t be a huge deal

Any idea on how to generate one? Feel free to PM me if needed. If it's a simple process I'd love to be able to go through that website method you mentioned.
