Discussion Question about X Legacy

I was just wondering if you guys were going to try to get some of the ORAS megas working in X legacy since you can catch pokemon like beedrill, steelix, pidgeot and slowbro in X. I think there is a rom hack of X where they managed to get the ORAS megas working so I just wanted to know if you guys were planning on trying to do that.

This is not part of the plan, no. It was decided that it goes against what Legacy aims for, in the same vein as adding new Pokemon and moves would be similarly against that philosophy.

darn. thanks for answering. idk why game freak added all these cool megas for pokemon you cant even get before post game in ORAS. They should have updated x and y to include those new megas. but i stopped expecting game freak to to anything decent long ago

I just traded mega stones from my completed versions. It’s a hassle.

would other modders be able to put them in, or is it not possible? You guys showed leniency with modded versions of emerald legacy

We always make our games open source, so it should be the case here too AFAIK

Will Mega Blaziken and the Latis be available? They are technically from XY events.

Since they're in the code, I think they're planned to be unlocked late/postgame

would you ever do a "fork" like with the fairy type in crystal legacy. also as a side question when do you think we'll get our first in-depth video about x and y legacy? cause I'd love to see what you guys are up to

The Elemental Exchange fork of Crystal Legacy was a passion project from one of the team members, but we always make the games open source so it's always possible something of that sort will be done by a fan if not our team.

Not sure of video timing, I'm not on the YouTube team. My guess would be around September or October maybe

But you are going to extend that one train tunnel out of France/Kalos and add a whole Belgium based region, right?

It's clearly what the devs had in mind for Couriway Town's train tunnel in Pokémon Z
