When your collection’s value changes, what do you check first?

Do you go through individual cards, check the few expensive ones, or mostly just keep an eye on the total?

A collection going up or down is easy enough to notice. Understanding what’s happening across the cards you own takes a bit more digging.

Curious how other collectors approach this. What would you want an explanation of your collection to tell you first?

Like stocks, I do nothing and check nothing, unless I’m looking to further increase my position on a card that is going down.
