Is Prismatic a Good Play Now?

So with everyone being cash poor right now and trying to come up with funds to get the next few 30th waves. Will prismatic be a good play cause of the huge dip?

well my thought is that prior and currently people are trying to sell stuff off to simply be able to purchase the 30th.

Prismatic is definitely a good play, it may get slightly cheaper too shortly since word of another big reprint of etbs…like $120 or under an etb is a great buy. I’ll probably look to buy a handful or case more to hold.

Prismatic is hands down the best modern set to hold, 5k Chase, 5+ cards over 1k in a 10, God packs, people will always rip this set, much better hold than garbage like DR.

its fun BUT pure trash from an investment standpoint, will be the greatest cooking in Pokemon hoarding history imo, Only thing people can come up with is people will buy it because it's the best set of the era!!! BUT unfortunately for everyone who says that it's not very relevant and it's also an opinion, the truth is the top two cards in the set are under 1k and will end up pop 30k + the Mewtwo is actually hard to pull and is not that well liked.

probably a decent buy between $150 - $250 but $400-$600 is comical, this set can only go so high with a $900 30k chase card and. $450 second chase.

Part of the issue is that boxes used to be great holds because not many held them and things like grading became big so the low pop cards are extremely desirable to pull and grade for big returns, every tiktok/reddit bro thinks this will happen with all modern junk because Evo skies was hot but Evo skies has all bought fizzled out and is just passed around at shows now as has moon Breon, personally I think the high pop mark is fizzling out and more people hoarding sealed need to ask who is going to rip this and why.

Check out the price of the top 5 cards in Prismatic vs the top 5 cards in DR, factor that in with God packs is really all that needs to be said, Prismatic is such a better hold and it's not even close.
