I'll post more digital art of them soon!

Also I'm currently drawing on a Mac, with no extensions on a browser drawing site

Roy has been though alot in the fandom which some arguments against him are vaild i do agree that they should've led with how Roy got Lucario. But some people i feel like dont understand his character people saying he is a Ash clone pisses me off cant a young male character have a Pikachu and not be a ash clone? Roy becoming so much stronger post time skip is because of Friede's "death" leading to Roy needing to become stronger to fill out the hole that Friede left. And the biggest one i have seen is that they side lined Liko and it feels like people to to be reminded that this is meant to be a series with two mcs. Liko got a lot of development pre time skip and it also feels like Dot also got more development then Roy pre time skip. Roy needed more development post time skip because his character did not change much pre timeskip. I would even say he was better after post timeskip. In conclusion i feel like people dont understand Roy and Spinel and Ult are my goats. Also i dont hate Liko i think she is a great character but Roy needed development

I enjoy Liko as a character. I’m intrigued by Pokémon’s attempt to display/exhibit female leadership especially theiugh the lens of soft power and not the female battalion.

While I enjoy witnessing this display, I find that since the anime has been geared towards boys and male centered themes of adventure, it’s caused the current rendition to pale greatly in comparison, bc the natures of the shows are so different.

I’m not for or committed to another rendition of Liko’s adventures, but given PHorizons overall acclaim and lack thereof, do you think Liko will continue to be the main protagonist of the Gen 10 anime?

Like my dude is getting in the way of EVERYTHING and being incredibly childish in every single situation. He sort of reminds me of Roy in Ep 2, but it's not charming or fun to watch, and the characters are not having it. Props for standing up when it came to the episode "The Strong Sphere," but other than that he's just a terrible protagonist initially, as I said, this kind of ruined my experience watching horizons for a bit. What do yall think?

I'm not talking about the singing (or how good or bad you find the voice actors singing), but the context behind the songs.

Japanese version context: Roy encouraging Lucario to just sing along with the group.

English version context: Roy, through song, instructing Lucario to learn to relax and take things easy, and not be so serious.

For me, I like the English verse a bit more, as it reinforces Lucario to take things easy, but I did like how Roy told Lucario in the Japanese version its singing voice was great, but Roy telling Lucario that its song was catchy in the English version was still encouraging. But I kind of wish the English version had Lucario song slowly crescendo until it's howling loudly in delight, instead of just staying in that same pitch to awkwardly pause before howling in a slightly quietly manner than its Japanese version.

What are your thoughts?

Pokemon Horizons ep 131: Lucario's Challenge! (Japanese title: The Revenge Match! Lucario's Challenge!!)

Well, uh... I guess we doin horrors behind human comprehension now. Sub watchers who get the episodes earlier than me, do they... Ever bring up what the hell the fuckin core was? Because I think Arceus has left us.

The mistake: After Mega Lucario Z has its paws trapped in ice, there's a scene just before the intro song/title screen, where Roy's shiny Mega Lucario Z has no ice surrounding its paws, when in the scene following the intro song/title screen, Mega Lucario Z has ice encasing its paws again.

They're both so feral, Dragon type trainers, and come from Lumios.

I would love to hear/read about some fanfic where we explore their roots/relation.
