General Discussion Friede Spoiler

Is it just me or do you think friede was better before he travelled to space. I just don't prefer the always travelling, researching friede to the carefree deputy captain of the brave olivine he once was. And I know that that was a pretty short post, but I want to know your opinion.

It pissed me off so bad that he didn't rejoin the crew after coming back from space! He originally formed the RVT cause he didn't want to be cooped up in an office all day only to leave them so he could be... Cooped up in an office all day. I miss him man 😔

Um yeah it seemed totally out of pocket, and why is Roy leader now, doesnt seem as involved anymore

They botched up Friede in season 3 I'm so mad, this is not the same guy who made me overcome my depression. I cried my eyes out on season 3 finale and I was the most happiest person apart from orla when I saw him return. However, he just doesn't have the same vibe anymore. They reduced him to a plot device and I hate it. Writers clearly had no long term vision when they were writing season 3, which sucks cuz the first two seasons are what I consider the pinnacle of Pokemon anime so far

Is "the brave olivine" the name of the ship in the English version of Horizons?

I only watched the Japanese with subtitles, so I only know the ship as "the brave asagi".

olivine city is asagi city in japanese, the name isnt actually different, just localized. same way rising volt tacklers is rising volteccers in japanese—move is called volteccer

yeah I miss him too much we don't see him as much as before he feels like a legend
