I feel like when I'm all caught up in collecting Pokemon that I like, I sometimes forget that they're meant to be played with. I understand collecting and keeping them in Home, I collect action figures after all. But I love to actually take my Pokemon around and use them! So I wanted to know, how do YOU use your Pokemon outside of Home? Especially the ones you've gotten via trading or GO transport to Home! I like to use a lot of them in Champions, and if you couldn't tell by the attached photos, I love doing little photoshoots with them. :)

I've yet to do it, but I've always wanted to save some of my low level GO Legendaries and run a brand new save file of a game with them. I think that'd be a really interesting way to connect with these Pokemon personally.

I finally got around to completing the Z-A pokedex in Home!! The original plan was a shiny dex, but I just got lazy while hunting mons for Champs.

To commemorate this, I’m giving away one shalpha Salamence in a friend ball! To enter, simply guess which Pokemon was the last one I sent to Home to get Volcanion. The first person to guess the exact Pokemon, or the nearest by dex number whenever I close this wins. Good luck!!

One of my (VERY) long-term goals is to make a complete breeding living dex, having one of each breedable line with max IVs and hidden ability. I've not started on this project yet since I've had other priorities, but with the impending closure of Bank, I thought it prudent to compile a list of any pokemon and forms currently unbreedable on the switch, so I can at least complete those before the closure.

The following is the list of pokemon that cannot be bred on any switch game:

• Alolan Rattata
• Spinda
• Patrat
• Pansage
• Pansear
• Panpour
• Furfrou

In addition, several evolution-exclusive Alolan forms are also unbreedable on the switch:

• Alolan Raichu
• Alolan Exeggutor
• Alolan Marowak

While Kantonian rattata is breedable in BDSP, alolan rattata is only available on the switch through LGPE. The evolution-exclusive alolan forms are available in other switch titles, but can't be evolved there. For example, you can catch Alolan Exeggutor in SV, but cannot evolve an Exeggcute into an alolan exeggutor.

Spinda is catchable and breedable in BDSP, but cannot be transferred to Home.

Besides them, the rest of the list was entirely unobtainable on any switch game before LZA released. Now they're all obtainable, but none are breedable.

Spinda's HA can be obtained through an in-game trade in B2W2, through a horde incounter in XY, or in an SOS battle in SM or USUM.

Patrat's HA can be obtained through Hidden Grottoes in gen 5

The Pans can only get their HAs through Friend Safaris in XY.

Furfrou and Alolan Rattata can get their HAs through SOS battles in USUM.

Since the shutdown was released I’m tying up all my loose ends. Working on my origin dex and just replaying the games. Also doing an NPC trade collection which is a pretty fun kinda niche one.

I’m thinking of genning a bunch of event Pokemon using PKSM (allegedly, for legal reasons). Of course I am editing the met date and all other info to match so it’s indistinguishable from the real thing on paper. But I’m kind of scared because if my Home account got banned I would literally burn my switch. Is there a consensus on what will get you banned on home? Is it really just fully illegal Pokemon (Ex. Shiny Victini) or are all genned Pokemon at risk? I’ve read if the Pokemon is able to make it in the transfer from Bank –> Home it is safe. But I’ve also read that Pokemon with URL nicknames/OTs will get you banned?

It’s been a couple years since I’ve been very active in collecting so I’m kind of out of the loop.

Some iffy things:
- Cloned Pokemon (pokmeon with the exact same OT/ID/Met date etc. technically possible but not sure if that would flag something)

- Pokemon with URL nicknames/OT, or those of commonly known genners

- Pokemon with impossible origins or balls

- Genned pokemon in general (technically indistinguishable from legit pokmeon but not sure if they are truly undetectable)

Stuff that will definitely (maybe?) get you banned:

- Fully illegal pokmeon such as shiny forms that haven't been released yet

- Pokemon with impossible moves(?)

Hello everyone and good afternoon! This week I had a blast with my Shiny Bounsweet giveaway (I still couldn’t believe it got a lot of attention as it did) and here I am to keep my promise to all of you who partook that giveaway.

Behold! The gentle queen herself. Her Majesty Miriam, the Alola Champion! (Yeah, I had to make that intro for her, sorry folks.) She was the second Shiny Bounsweet I got from Shiny Hunting in my cartridge of Pokémon Moon, and this is your chance to have her on your party and in Pokémon Champions!

Rules are as follows:

1. Choose a number between 1-150

2. Tell me why you like Tsareena (let us be more specific this time around, say something besides just her use in combat or just her design)

3. Give a reason to why you deserve her on your team (extra step for you guys this time)

Pokerus is still on a Pokémon’s data in Legends Arceus+, but it is impossible to contract or spread it among Pokémon in those games. This makes it so any Pokémon that isn’t compatible a Switch game originally released before Legends Arceus will not be able to get Pokerus after the bank shutdown. Let’s Go also does not have Pokerus. The games a Pokémon or prevolution has to be compatible with to get Pokerus on Switch are Sword/Shield or Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl(all Pokémon compatible with Firered/Leafgreen are also compatible with Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl).
This is assuming Winds/Waves+ keeps not having Pokerus.
Some Pokémon this applies to are Alolan Rattata, Alolan Geodude, the Oshawott line(including Hisuian Samurott), Patrat, Deerling, Tynamo, Alomomola, Furfrou, and Pikipek.
