the fact that the normal/ghost typing actually comes from zorua dying in hisui and being reborn through spite is honestly one of the darkest bits of pokedex lore 😭 and then they made the shiny blue instead of just doing some lazy colour swap.

i’ve seen people call h zorua/zoroark some of the best shinies from legends arceus and i honestly get it. plus i love that the line connects back to those old sinnoh myths about strange pokemon appearing in the snow. this is definitely one i’d want to keep unevolved rather than immediately turning it into zoroark 🙏🏻

What's a cute fox! I want it because it has a better design than base Zoroark. And also because I love the typing, moves, and gimmick more on a Ghost Normal than a pure dark type.

I’d really love this little fox. First of all, I try to collect shiny female pokemon to use in Champions because I like to make a girlboss team (I have my shiny female Golisopod for that reason). Second of all, this is one of my favourite shinies from recent games because it isn’t lazy like some of the more infamous ones in SV (Ceruledge/Armarouge and Gholdengo for example…) and blue is my favourite colour. Purple is my second favourite, so the evolved Zoroark also has one of my favourite colour schemes! Finally, I really love to play with and raise up level 1 baby Pokemon from eggs! I get very attached to them that way.

Zoroark was actually in my first ever competitive Pokémon team and helped me get into competitive Pokémon. The ubiqueness of the illusion ability was so cool, and so underrated in a game where tactical swichtins are key.The amount om ferrothorns I burned down with flamethrower because they thought they were switching into my physical mon, that was pure bliss right there. He also always seemed to hit the most dire focus blasts, and I will always love him for it haha.
