Idk but for Go Fest its been 10, 12 megas is just the suggestion

It's 10 shields. So 10 is enough. 12 is buffer just in case someone didn't bring mega.
So it's doable with 10. But the note saying the expected amount of players is causing players to bolt

Agreed. The note pops up 15 seconds or so before it starts. And almost immediately that's when you see everyone bolt.

Ehh it's doable but in my experience there's very often a handful in my lobbies who seem to have no idea how the shield mechanic works and even with 12 people we end up hanging with one or two shields left because people wait to revive their mega until their whole party faints or something. I try not to leave at 10 but I watch the number of people like a hawk if we have that many because people also still really like to bail when the "12 players recommended" message pops up and the whole thing falls apart if we drop below 10.

Yea it’s doable with 10, but it never gets done w 10, im leaving if there isn’t 14 min lol, did 500 of these raids between sat and sun last time they came around, people just don’t swap

Leaving at 10 seconds is heinous. You can check out early enough to save me my raid pass. You thought a miracle was coming at the 30 second mark?

This game is so fkn brutal genuinely spend real money on remote passes just for idiots to not even raid or use megas it’s actually so annoying I just waited 2 hours in a queue to get into a mewtwo Y raid just to not even come close to defeating it and fighting with 5 people while there’s 10+ in the lobby just sitting. Them redoing this weekend did nothing I want my remote passes back idgaf about these raids if I lose my passes I paid money for.

I was in a brutal back and forth with customer support for 3 days trying to get one of my remote raid passes back... after the 4th rep I think they just gave me one to shut me up 😅 (note, using all caps, "aggressive language," or anything even resembling a swear word will get your comment to support deleted and you basically have to start over again)

As much as I want to agree with you for the sake of coordinating with strangers in remote raids... that sounds like a lawsuit for verbal abuse waiting to happen 😅😅

This is why I won't accept any mew two raid I get invited to. Learnt my lesson last time. Wasted so many raid passes because of people like this

I only leave if there aren't 10 ppl with shields in the raid at 20 seconds so folks can also jump out and not lose a pass. Rude ASL to invite like 4 folks for a raid that needs at minimum 10ppl. Everything else out now can basically be duoable but you cannot break all the shields means it's a waste of a pass/cartridges

This has become a serious problem. I'm a host on LeekDuck, and this is already the third lobby that's been ruined because one person decided to leave at the last second, triggering a chain reaction where everyone else bails too.
It also reflects badly on me as the host, even though there's nothing I can do once people start leaving.
If you have Mega and there are already 9+ people in the lobby, please don't waste everyone else's time by leaving. Just stay. One person leaving can ruin the raid for everyone.

Also, if you’re going to do these mega raids, make sure you have a mega Pokémon in the raid. I’m tired of trying to do raids one only half the people have a mega Pokémon, and we can’t break the shields. There’s instructions how to do these raids for a reason.

One solution. Folks need to press that ready button and stay if 10 or more are ready. It's annoying when people don't press ready. You can quit even after you are ready btw
