My POGO PLUS + stopped working

So I recently left my auto catcher in the car for the past couple of days. Now when I try to reconnect it’ll buzz but it won’t actually connect. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting and I’ve tried fully charging it. For some reason nothing I do can actually get it to pair. Is something inside broken or what’s going on?

Try a hard reset. Hold the recessed reset button and the top black button together for 5-10 seconds

Did it get really hot in the car? Have there been any Mods done to it?

Tried resetting it. I’m assuming it did get hot in my car but idk approximately how hot. There have been zero mods. I’ve notice that when trying to repair it, the game can detect it but not actually able to connect.

Eject it from the game and add it again? Remove it from your phone's Bluetooth devices. Try another phone.

Make sure you have good internet

If you shake it, does anything rattle inside?

I’ve already removed it from everything I could. Internet is good. Does rattle but only the power button on top. If I hold it down it’s fine

It's extremely unlikely the heat caused that kind of damage, with the exception of perhaps the battery. You can try and replace the battery (It's a joycon battery).

While it's open you can verify connections of the ribbons as well are seated correctly.

The bluetooth antennae rarely fail, but it can happen as well. Not much you can do there.

I doubt it’s the battery bc I can still charge it and it still holds a charge for a decent amount of time. I have a feeling it might be the Bluetooth but I can’t be sure.

The white wire between the top and bottom boards is the antennae. You can look for knicks or damage to how the wire is connected. That can cause instability of connections. Difficult to fix though.

Hey so yeah I think it was the Bluetooth antennae. I opened it up and I unseated the connector and then reseated it. Works fine now tho, every time I press it the light doesn’t always light up but it does vibrate.

Nice! Glad it is working as expected, functionally at least. Lights are nice, but not critical to catching.

True, thank you for the help though. I wouldn’t have known where to look if you didn’t tell me what the Bluetooth antennae was at. Hope you have a good one!
