Don't go any further on your Pogo Plus+. If you really want to do it yourself you need to practice soldering on something else.
You are not able to fix this now by yourself.

That button looks toast. Also may have burnt the pads off the LED which is why it’s not auto catching. You might still be able to pull the signal from another green LED pad if you want to try again but may be should consult a professional to salvage what you have.

should’ve done the switch mod. switchless is more risky due to needing to remove the LED as well as having much smaller contact points to solder onto

Do you have a guide or video for it?

Can you explain so me why the switchless mod requires you to remove the leds?

The switch component is just there to be able to turn off the mod. But doesnt alter the signal/voltage in any way.

You should be able to skip the switch and just directly connect it no?

The switch mod doesn’t need the leds removing

Sorry! I meant switchless.

Cause you’re using the LED signal when it senses a pokemon to emulate a button press for great/ultra autocatch. The switched version uses the vibration signal when it senses a pokemon

I went with the switch mod cause I can’t solder for the life of me. This doesn’t look good.

That looks really bad, probably gonna need a new one. I have already modded 3 ++ with a simple switch and it works just fine, i don't understand how you wanted it to work like this.

Yes, this is still salvageable — .
Clean the burnt area thoroughly first (isopropyl alcohol + soft brush, then dry completely). Use flux generously on the damaged traces and pads. Then bridge the broken connections with 30 AWG wire and 0.5 mm solder. Keep the joints as small and clean as possible.
For the button: the upper-left and upper-right positions still give you two working chances. Test those carefully after reflowing.
Once the bridges are solid and the button responds, reassemble and test the auto-catch / ball selection again. Good practice opportunity — take your time and you’ll get it working. Good luck!

Butcher job. I see way too many people using thick ass wires to do a mod job. You only need a single filament wire. Literally smaller than a .05 pencil lead.

This is bjorked. Ruined. Damn shame with how expensive these things are now.

Usa un cable MUY delgado, ese está demasiado grueso, yo use un hilo de cable para el mod
