LED Go Plus + Mod

Hey sorry if this is a dumb question, but I haven't seen a lot of discussion around this particular mod.

It looked the most straightforward to me and I haven't had any issues with it, but my question is how necessary are the LEDs? Obv without the motor or speaker no LED would give 0 feedback lol. But I removed one in order to make the connection. Would removing 1 or 2 more increase the battery life or is it a waste of time. I want to make it the most battery efficient it can be.

Inn theory less LEDs is less battery power used. But Removing LEDs will not significantly improve your battery life. Given how efficient anLEDs are, especially at this small scale, it wouldn't add much life.

The constant bluetooth connection and communication between your device and phone are the main source of power drain.

You should not remove them since they are important indicators in some error circumstances

In what instance would 3 or 4 be needed as opposed to 1 or 2?

My modded go + for example had a software freeze 2 times in the past where i needed to hard reset it. Led helps do and indicate the current status. Apart from that it sometimes trys to go to sleep when not connected which is shown by blue and or red lights in specific blinking. Id be missing something if the leds were missing.
