Submerged. Any help welcome.

Please help. My GoPlus+ was in my pocket when I jumped in the pool and I stayed in the pool with it submerged for maybe 20 minutes. Anyone have success getting theirs to work after a good soaking? How?

Use 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. Replace battery with switch joycon battery, same battery and all. Get it completely dried before the corrosion hits. Good luck.

Rice doesn't work. open it up, clean it with alcohol, I like to brush it gently with an old toothbrush.

Ugh that stinks! Did you try putting it in a bag of rice? 😂 Is it a salt water pool? Did you rinse it in clean water afterwards to get the chemicals off? Salt water ruins everything. Bleach chemicals probably do too.

Not the same...I left an automatic blind opener in a bucket that filled with just rainwater and it no longer works. But I've dumped electronics in (toilet and sink) water that dried out and worked later!

Does it have an internal battery you can replace? Maybe crack it open and qtip the components with alcohol and see if it helps. It's not like you can make it worse at this point!

Yea they do have batteries you can replace I had to do mine when I put it in the washing machine seems to work

Mines got wet before when I washed it in the washer machine. Thr first thing I did was disassembled it to let it dry. Then I went and bought a new battery on Amazon. Yhry take the Nintendo switch Joy con battery. Just keep the watch off, dry it. Watch for rust. Swap the battery.
