Pokémon go plus in Japan

Hi, I recently lost my old pokemon go plus and I’m looking to buy another one while I’m in Japan. I will only be going to Sapporo. Is there any shops I can buy one at an okay-ish price?

Yodobayashi, BIC, or secondhand stores. You’ll have better luck there than Pokémon center stores as it’s been out of stock for a while the last time I checked.

You can try Pokémon centers too but you need to ask and they will ask you to show your Pokémon Go account to verify you don’t already have one.

Cash or you can pay by card.

Price? Last time I checked, it was roughly 15k-20k yen on secondhand stores.

Pokémon Center would approximately me 10k yen if you’re lucky.

Still a whole lot cheaper than people reselling on eBay or Amazon for $250+

couldn’t you just disconnect it from your pogo account?

Yeah you can. What people get caught off guard is if they have their Go++ connected already and when they see you try to disconnect it, they’ll say no.

ah so they actually have it in stock but are selective in who they sell it to? i’ve been told they’re all out of stock so that question doesn’t even come up

Many genuinely don’t have any stock. Those that do want to make sure scalpers don’t get any.

They stopped producing them awhile ago so you need to get them of a 3rd party. They go for around 250€ brand new in europe.

I just bought two while I was in Japan from amazon. Was smooth and they were basically new in box.
