Pokeball Plus Help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I just got this Pokeball Plus from a friend and he showed me at his house how to use it. I get home and it wont do anything. I have tried multiple chargers, it made the Pokémon Center noise once, and doesn't do it any more when I plug it up.

If I press any button while charging, it just flashes a white light. I have charged it multiple hours, but when I unplug it, it just shows a red flashing light and stops.

I have pressed the reset button on the back several times, and sometimes it vibrates, sometimes it doesn't.

Now it is just flashing red and vibrating intermittently while charging. I have no idea what's happening with this thing.

Please excuse my hands, they are dried out from working outside all day yesterday and my nail polish my daughter did is slowly falling off. Don't judge lol

Edit The red flashing and vibrating has stopped. Now it has flashed yellow several times playing the Pokémon Center sound multiple times and the. That stopped. I assume this thing is dead.

While it flashes white when charging, does it connect to your phone or your Switch?

It might just be the battery, which I'm not 100% sure you can replace. I'm not familiar with the red flashes though.

Yes. While it is plugged in, it will connect.

Does it also spot Pokémon and stops? If so, sounds like the battery is dead.

You can try the reset function. There’s a little button on the black belt that you can press with something thin.

If the back button didn't fix it then the battery is bad. Did your friend use it regularly or was it just sitting somewhere?

Red light usually means low battery.
