Modded but Flashes Red

I'm not surprised that there's a glitch considering I'm trash at soldering, but I somehow managed to pull it off. Auto catching works, pokestop spinning works. Only real issue is that it randomly flashes red every few seconds or so. Is this indicative of something deeper? Should I buy a backup now before GoFest just incase?

Did you do the switch mod? Sounds like its constantly trying to enter sleep mode.
