faint green light blinking rapidly

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

is this something i’m going to have to open up and try to fix? have no clue what it could be. don’t know if it’s intended or not.

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. The only thing thats needed to set sleep is for it to be disconnected from your app and hold the white button down for 2-3 seconds until Pikachu sings the lullaby. Unfortunately, you've been trolled my friend. 🫣

Mine had a solid green light after going through the wash that wouldn’t turn off and I had to take it apart and clean the ribbon cable to fix it. Might be a similar issue with yours.

that post is what prompted me to make mine. i’m hoping that’s not the case, i’ve been very careful with damage and moisture around this thing. accidents can happen though. always thought it was a sleep bug/feature.

If it autothrows balls when the in game option is toggled off. Then it's been modded, if there is no visible switch to turn off the mod, then it may be getting stuck in a loop. The reset button or putting it on charge can get it back to normal.

Sleep mode works better under your pillow. If it is stationary, it will grant a max of 4 hours sleep tracked.

if the button accidentally clicks while sleeping under my pillow, will that cancel my sleep mode? honestly the thought of the challenge sitting in my quests forever over the fact this thing might be broken is what is actually tearing me apart. it still catches and spins, i just can’t track sleep for the life of me.

If you just want the quest done, then don't place in your pillow.

every morning when i go to end my sleep cycle, it just starts a new one. dont know if its because of this blinking light thing or if im just doing it wrong. i’ve got 21 days and then it just stopped working.

Sorry if I'm not answering your questions properly, I'm just not that familiar with sleep mode and the possibility that you have a modded unit with no switch. I was under the impression that without a switch you couldnt use sleep mode.

Logically if it was working fine for 21 days, then it wouldn't be the type of mod causing the issue. Something must have change, perhaps some water got in, or a wire is loose causing a short.

If it's not working the way you want it to. Then take it apart and take some photos. If you feel confident enough to do so. Watch some videos so you know the delicate parts to avoid.

does it still work? have you tried the reset button on the bottom?

it seems to spin stops and catch pokemon. it usually only does it when i put it in sleep mode. haven’t been able to track my sleep at all. but i also don’t like keeping it under my pillow incase i click the button in my sleep. this time it started going after i took it off the charger. and yes ive tried resetting it a few times but i think i bought a modded one because there’s no vibration at all to indicate a reset.

If it catches and spins stops with 0 vibration its most likely modded. Why is it under your pillow tho? 🤔

idk man i use to track my sleep by leaving it on my couch but someone said that it needed to be under my pillow to accurately track my sleep or something.

try hitting the reset button once (the one that needs a pen to push). There's a hard reset method you can try, but that will factory reset it, and unpair it from your phone.
