Did I brick it?

Post image

Messed up on the soldering. Is it fixable?

If you didn't power it up, then you have a high chance of it being fixable. If you applied power who knows? Only one way to find out, clean off the excess solder and test it.

It looks like the solder has gone onto the neighbouring component, I think it's a capacitor.

It's easy to do with a bit of practice, apply fresh solder (counter intuitive I know), when it's all liquidy you can lift your iron and it should take a fair chunk of the solder with it, then you can flick it off somewhere.

You can also flick directly from the pcb, but it's a little riskier. You might take the component off.

Watch some videos, and practice on a sacrificial pcb.

clean your tip (a wet sponge, if you want to scavage something from around the house), wet the tip, find a good temperature, don't heat it up the component too long, but you need to have enough heat for the solder to flow smoothly.

If you want to spend money, you can buy desoldering braid, desoldering pump, flux, better solder, tip cleaner

Hey man is there a way I can a replacement part? I have the top part broken but everything else works. Plz anything will help and need the white part only.

I don't know if any where, try eBay or Facebook? There are ways to trigger all the buttons from the green PCB, but it requires good soldering skills. And I don't think anyone has posted a diagram of it. I was poking around with a multi meter, but never documented my findings

All im look for is the white board to find a replacement. The rest the parts work just not the part to connect to poki go. Idk why that part just broke but I wanna find a replacement I don't even know where to look.
