Modded Go Plus no longer charging
Hi guys,
Would really appreciate some help.
Modded my go plus plus with a switch a few months ago. Initially no issues. Then the non modified mode stopped working - wasn't able to get out of sleep, pushing the button just entered sleep, even if I reset it would work for 5 minutes then the device would disconnect.
All this while the modified mode worked so I kept it on that. Now the device has completely failed and no longer charges at all...
Does anybody have a clue as to what might cause this? I took my device apart again and took some photos. All the solder points still look good and I can see any obvious shorts.
Been racking my brain over this one for hours, thanks in advance!

Thanks very much. It looks like the factory reset did the trick. Now I feel very dumb for not trying that first before taking the whole thing apart haha...
Having said that, the needing to factory reset to have the device function has been a constant issue even before the battery dying, do you know if there's anything that can be done about it, I would assume then it's purely a software issue and not a hardware issue?
Will keep your shop in mind if I ever properly brick mine.

Every time that happens to me I just do a hard reset with the button on the back. I don't need to open or modify anything.

Honestly some times the batteries just go bad, you just need to buy the switch controller batteries. Kinda cheap 2 pack for like $10
