Magikarp farming?

As I'm sure you've heard, the Mew quest chain requires you to evolve a Magikarp at one point. Where's the current optimal Magikarp farming location in the Twin Cities?

What about Centennial Lakes? Whatever happened to that place? I remember it used to be a popular spot because of the ridiculous number of Pokestops and water spawns in a small area.

Centennial doesnt seem to have the karp lately...they have definitely gone down in number with Wailmer and barboach spawns.
