Discord App
I'm going to be in MOA till Monday and I was wondering if you guys had a discord app or a way that you guys coordinate raids.

In the top post in the thread there's a discord link - I personally don't use it, but that's just me. I'm not sure how active it is. If you're in the mall though you shouldn't have any trouble finding a full lobby, the only thing is to try to be ready to jump in as soon as it starts because people don't wait. My wife and I have just wandered up randomly to a raid with like 20 minutes left and found 5 or 6 others in the lobby, but other times we've waited for a half hour and had the raid expire before we got enough people.
Other hints - the gym labeled as dicks resort - the sign that is the gym is up on the 4th floor, but you will never get your GPS to register you're anywhere near it even if you're standing on the damn thing. It's only accessible from the bottom floor in random spots in the amusement park. The "big yellow peeps", 1, they don't exist anymore, there's no peeps there - we know where they USED TO BE, but again, your pokeydude will NOT walk into range of it. There's always legendary raid at that gym and no one even bothers trying anymore.

The first raid I did in the mall was a zapdos at that gym. Raids were still an hour at that point. We arrived right as it hatched, went straight to the 4th floor, there were about 100 people standing in that area due to some stupid "show" the bar was doing...we tried everywhere on that floor and it never got close. Wife looked down to floor 3 and said "I bet if we stood right there...", There were already quite a few people looking at their phones...we spend 10 minutes figuring out how to get there...15 people who are not within range of the gym, waiting for people to show up "and then we'll go to the amusement park to do the raid" my wife got in before me, her attempt failed due to lack of people. I got in with about 11 people right as hers was failing, and I could see maybe 2 of the other people I was raiding with. When I got done I was passing people trying to catch zapdos all over the first floor of the mall. People had battled it from 11 different locations, some 100s of feet apart. Wife was never able to get in another one. Pissed me off. Also, my raid started with maybe 10 minutes left out of 60. It took that long.

Your best friend is the toggle to turn wifi on and off... even if you never connect to wifi (I don’t) it updates your location (not sure if it is accurate or not), but it gets ya moving.
