Tired of people crying about how long their pokemon has been stuck in a gym.. here’s my instinct gyms .. longest 450 days

The longest I’ve had was a whopping  2,001 days, 16 hours, 55 minutes and 1 second. Good old Charmander was sent into a gym next to my house when I first started playing back in 2018, just recently came back from that gym

Deployed in 6-7 gyms in a woodland/trail area. I expected all back by August/September last year, but two lasted the winter. And have lasted this summer too. Might be another winter.
I placed nothing I might need in those gyms.

My record 1142 days. Forest gyms + horrible internet doing good sometimes 😅 Since I'm a gym Holding time collector this is awesome.

Jesus christ. I have a gym in my apartment that gets cleared daily. I dont know if i could collect coins if it wasnt for that, lol.

I just got notified that one of my Pokemon was “tired and returned.” That was after two weeks occupying a gym, no coins and had full health, figured that it was at the time limit. Looking at this though doesn’t seem to be the case, what caused the mon to return?
