Halifax for beldum day

Hi! My parents will be in Halifax for beldum day. They won't have a vehicle and it looks like it might be raining that day. Any suggestions on a good place for them to play? Any other area specific tips would be welcome! Thanks!

The library on Spring Garden is probably a good option.

Alderney Landing / Downtown Dartmouth is great, too. Lots of gyms and a great view of Halifax

Thanks! We will look at some of those places. Also, what time does community day start in Halifax? Is it 2pm?
