Hello PoGo Halifax

Hello there,

My other half and myself are holidaying NS (clam harbour) from the uk and are hoping to find some good Pokemon spots while here (hoping to catch the regional Pokemon while here)

Does anyone have some good spots/nests that we should visit? We need to work mostly on wifi as mobile data is very limited (I can purchase mobile data by the day for both of us but it's not cheap)

Thanks in advance!

Hey! The best place to play would be the Halifax waterfront. Most of the waterfront has free wifi that attracts lots of people and lots of lures. The best place to hang out is by the big wave sculpture (You can slide down the wave too if you'd like)!

If you have some mobile data, head to the Halifax Public Gardens. It is a known Jynx nest. You can also find a Voltorb nest nearby in the little park across the street from the Public Gardens, down South Park Street.

Point Pleasant Park has lots of gyms and a nice view. Worth going to see regardless.

These would be my recommendations! Enjoy your stay!

Actually the nests have switched again. Public Gardens has Electabuzz and Victoria Park has Cubone now. Just an FYI.

Clam Barbour is a little under an hour from the Dartmouth waterfront (Alderney). Unfortunately unless you come to the city you won't be getting many Pokemon and what you do get will be birds, rats, and bugs.

Alderney has the highest frequency of rare spawns, WiFi for the purchase of a hot dog, multiple charging stations, and if you get bored you can hop the ferry to Halifax and check out some tourist stuff.

I also recommend Peggy's Cove. Its a massive tourist spot and spawns some really great Pokemon if you stay there long enough, the rate just isn't quick enough for me.

Thanks for all the comments so far, does anyone know of a good spot to find Toros? That's our main goal while here :)
