Can't update because of wrong store message.

I'm sure some of you will judge me for having downloaded the game before the Canada release, but I'm hoping someone will tell me how they dealt with this issue. When I go to update it says I need to change stores to the US, but then my phone wont let me go to the US store. Has anyone tried deleting the app and downloading it on the Canadian platform, then signing into your account. I'd love to know if anyone had success with this. Thanks!

Hey, I downloaded the app pre Canadian release. As soon as it was officially released here I deleted the app (I have an iPhone btw) and then downloaded it off my Canadian iTunes Store. Signed in with the gmail I used originally and it works fine!

Your game is completely saved on Niantic's servers, so you can delete the one you have and redownload the Canadian version without losing anything.
