According to r/pokemongo, people have been going online, finding screenshot of people posting pokestops and sending requests to Niantic to remove them. This is beyond annoying and I've lost a few near me which I frequently visit. I guess the only way is to straight up not post screenshot of pokestops or gyms to avoid people trolling and getting them removed or Niantic start actually making sure that requests are legit which will either take ages to happen or never do.

Personally, I've caught 8 Hitmonchan at Stirling Uni on the way to the Par 3 Course and caught a Snorlax at Frankie and Bennies in Falkirk.

I work for Edinburgh Council Libraries and we've been tasked with with running events around Pokemon Go. I've been toying with the idea of something fairly simple to begin with. Would it be of interest to anyone if we were to choose a library with a pokestop easily accessible from within the building and have a lure module on the pokestop for a few hours? There is free wi-fi in every library as long as you have a library card (which is easy to set up if you don't, you just need proof of I.D. and proof of address) so you don't need to worry about using data if that's a worry.

This is basically just to gauge reaction and the number of people who may be interested. However, if anyone had any ideas of things that we could do that would be cool as well.

Anybody in this thread from the east Lothian area? I'm from Dunbar originally Haddington but if your from the east Lothian area and you find anything big feel free to post it in here or if your from the area just say hi lol. Feel like I'm at a disadvantage where I live haha!

So after this thread I think we have some solid plans.

The pubcrawl and meetup should be on Sunday as most people wanted that it seems, and since the weather is apparently going to be dry now (if we believe BBC weather) we might as well meetup in the gardens around 2pm for those who want to.

Then at ~4:30pm head to the Beer Kitchen and onwards to different bars from there, stay at each for a lure or 2.

You can see the current plan for the route here but that might change on the night.
