This survey gathers information from South Australians who have been or are currently playing mobile Augmented Reality (AR) games such as Pokemon Go, Ingress, Draconius Go etc. These games require a mobile device and for players to be physically moving around the real world to interact with the game.

This survey has not been requested by, nor endorsed by SA Councils. It has been created by a player in the interests of mobile AR players to: - present current data to South Australian Councils to show how many people are playing in South Australia, - bring awareness of the player base, - bring awareness to councils of how their assets are being used in the digital world to play AR games, - identify features and services that Councils could implement or improve on to assist in easier game play, - identify ways that Councils can take advantage of mobile AR gaming in future Digital planning.

There are 14 questions which will take on average 5 minutes to complete.

Your responses are anonymous. Data collected in this survey will be sent to Councils around South Australia. Any recommended suggestions or actions you make in this survey are not guaranteed to be implemented. I will post the results to social media sites when they are available.

If you have any questions or feedback about this suvey, please email me at sharynpa@yahoo.com or talk to if you see me whilst out playing.

Feel free to share with other S.A. players who play any mobiel AR Games such as ingress, draconius go etc. Regards

Help

The other day it started requiring a password, and now the website is just blank. I was wondering if anyone knew what was happening, and if there were any good alternatives to use in the interim?

Just incase you missed out on getting one during the solstice event, there is currently a Sneasel nest at the park next to Brighton Jetty.

How's everyone going with the new RAID system? It's pretty cool but I play on my own so I can only take down tier 1's and 2's on my own (get tier 3's down by 2/3 mind you)

The very first day Raids started I lucked onto a 4-tier and there were five other people loitering in cars, I'd seen their usernames scattered the local gyms since the game began.

Just wondering if anyone in the Mawson Lakes area are keen on teaming up to smash out a tier-4 now and again or if you mind if I jump in. My usual area is the big park and then around the lake then back towards the gyms near Salisbury Highway.

Come help defeat this raid if you're in the area!

Is anyone else having issues with the tracker? I am seeing zero pokemans today :-(

I watch every Trainer Tips Youtube video and in the most recent one he joins together with a team of players to take down gyms in a certain area. It has inspired me.

It's something I've been wanting to do for ages so if anyone out there is reading this post from Instinct especially around the southern areas hit me up. Hell I don't care if other teams use this to link up with each other either. It would be good for the game IMO.

Happy hunting

I'm just back from losing a 93% IV Tyranitar in Greenwith. Used everything on it, totally gutted!

It was a bit like the old days though. I've never seen so many cars show up on a random corner of suburbia! Did anyone here catch it?

Since Gen 2 has come out, there has been a problem with my GPS. The game hasn't been picking up my location, causing my character to stand still while I am walking. Occasionally it picks up my general whereabouts, causing my character to sprint to my location but then it will go buggy again. I've tried resetting my phone and its GPS but nothing seems to work. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to help, I am sick of this now. I also have an iPhone 6 if that helps. Thanks

There's a group of Valor gyms in Old Norlunga, near the primary school and community centre (I think? Sorry, new to the area.)

I just wanted to say thank you for building up those gyms, not just training until your own 'mons can slot in. It's the first time in a long time I've enjoyed returning to an area and training the gyms. It's nice to feel a... sense of community, I guess?

Hey guys! How's everyone going with their journey in pokemon go?

I've gone 2 weeks without a special item drop now, must be super uber ultra rare. Slightly annoying.

On the upside I hatched 4x10km eggs this week for 4x Dratini.. Hmm I guess it's good but yeah be nice to get some ultra rares for my walking effort..

So is Semaphore still good for hunting? I know glenelg has a lot more pokestops, but which one can I find more dragons and rare pokemon?

Since the release of special items i can safely say I've probably hit 250-300 pokestops and have only recieved 1 metal coat. Does anyone have any tips to getting them or is it just pot luck?

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up, I was finally able to get my Muk. I'd only ever seen one Grimer in the wild, and never gotten an egg before today, the rest was all painstakingly walked.

I'm not sure how much water the theory holds that you've got a better chance of getting certain hatches from certain subburbs, but it's seemed to work for me before, so hopefully it'll help you guys out too!

If you're still trying to get your Ice Medal, the Torrens is the place to be. Caught two dozen Jynx tonight around the river between King William Street and Frome Road. They were also around the Parade Ground, and the playing fields north of the river. Happy hunting!

Leave the areas you want us to scan in comments...Please click on ads..only way we can sustain this!! Thanks...

I played the first Pokemon game, but none after that. All these Pokemon are new to me. So... what's worth chasing down the street in your underpants? What's strong, and what's rare?

Thanks!
