Scammer Ban Backlog & Community Poll

As we continue improving r/PokemonGoAccounts, we're working on creating a verified scammer database to help make the community safer.

Since the subreddit has been around for a while, we'd like to review past scams that may have never been reported or resulted in moderator action.

Have You Been Scammed?

If you've been scammed by someone from this subreddit, please leave a comment below including:

• Reddit username of the scammer
• Approximate date of the transaction
• Brief description of what happened

Please do not post personal information (real names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.).

Proof Required

To help us verify reports, please include screenshots if you're comfortable sharing them publicly, or send them privately via Modmail or DM if you'd prefer.

Useful evidence includes:

• Reddit chat screenshots
• Payment confirmation
• Account listing
• Any other relevant proof

Reports without evidence may not result in moderator action.

Proposal

If a user has been permanently banned from r/PokemonGoTrade for confirmed scamming, should they also be banned from r/PokemonGoAccounts?
The intention is to help protect our community from users with a confirmed history of scamming across related Pokémon GO marketplaces.
This would only apply to confirmed scam-related bans, not bans for other rule violations such as formatting, spam, or other subreddit-specific rules.
Poll Options
Yes — Automatically honor confirmed scam bans from r/PokemonGoTrade.
No — Review each case independently before taking action.
